Friends of HOPE (FOH) is a voluntary forum that further enables the success of HOPE Qatar for differently abled children through community support and outreach programs.
Consisting of individual from various nationalities, and organizational members, this forum strives to do whatever is possible and essential based on their requirements, to help HOPE Qatar consistently deliver high quality services to children with special needs who study at HOPE.
As a Friend of HOPE, we offer our time, efforts, resources, or skills/ talents, which may be of use to the HOPE Qatar team and the children studying there.
FOH organizes volunteer events where you can participate and help in various ways. FOH also maintains a database of highly energetic and talented individuals who are eager to come forward and be of help and support to HOPE Qatar.
While the membership is open to anyone, it entails a commitment from you that you will be there—like a true friend, whenever there is a need.
To ensure commitment from the volunteers, a nominal Friends of HOPE registration fees of QR 100/- is charged from 2015 onwards as detailed below in the terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions:
Friends of HOPE exist to support HOPE Qatar in achieving its objectives for providing Help, Opportunity, Participation and Education (HOPE) to children with special needs. Membership is open to anyone who is a legal resident in Qatar and has completed the age of 15 at the time of submitting the application. You become a friend of HOPE by:
1. Filling in an online application form
2. Visiting the office of HOPE Qatar and paying a nominal one time registration fees of QR 100 (per applicant). You will receive an e-mail with the location details once we receive your online application.
Your details are entered in the Friends of HOPE registry AFTER your registration fees has been received.
By being a friend of HOPE, selected members are given the opportunity (as the need arises) to:
-Use their skills, talents, time, and contacts to support HOPE when there is a specific need.
-To be ambassadors of the work HOPE is undertaking and to promote HOPE on a day to day basis amongst your contacts
-Participate with HOPE in its activities especially public events as requested/ invited for.
-Receive invitations for and attend all of HOPE’s public events.
-Join hands in doing more for the children.
You are also requested to connect to, like, and follow our social media channels given below so that you are made aware of all updates, volunteer opportunities, and details of all upcoming events.
Friends of HOPE shall never speak to the media on behalf of the organization unless explicitly requested to and authorized to by the management of HOPE Qatar.
Any involvement of any friend of HOPE in negatively impacting the image and goodwill of HOPE Qatar will not be tolerated and will result in barring of the member from any further activities related to the organization, and removal of the member from the friends of HOPE registry. No claims or communication will be entertained from such individuals after being barred.
Membership is subject to the approval of registration application by the Executive Committee of Friends of HOPE. In the interest of the organization, they reserve the right to decline membership to any individual or organization without having to give any justification or explanation whatsoever.
