About HOPE Qatar
Founded in 2005 by parents of a child with Down syndrome, HOPE Qatar Centre provides quality education and therapeutic support for children and young adults with disabilities in an inclusive, nurturing environment.
Combining academics with individualized therapeutic programs—behavioral, speech, occupational, and physical—alongside activities like sports, dance, and life skills, HOPE Qatar creates a near-school experience where students wear uniforms, do homework, join group activities, and attend field trips. The curriculum aligns with the Ministry of Education and is enriched by annual events and regular inspections.
With expert staff from over 16 nationalities and students from more than 19 countries, the Centre has empowered 400+ learners—many transitioning to mainstream schools, excelling in board exams and SATs, or gaining employment.
Led by Founder & Chief Mentor Dr. Rajeev Mathew Thomas and Chairman Mr. Jumah Al Boeinein, HOPE promotes inclusion, awareness, and opportunity for every child.
